If you study a minimum of 4 hours a week ( home work excercises) you will be able to give a short presentation in Dutch of your work or interest. Your presentation in Dutch is the assignment for the final lesson of the 8 week course.
If you want to achieve much more in a shorter span of time there is the option of the individual intensive program of 2 weeks or the taylor-made program

Speaking
In all the beginners programs you will be stimulated to speak Dutch right from the start.
You are trained to communicate in a flexible way. Two way active communication in which you are able to make requests, to give your opinion, show interest, to tell something about yourself and your work or study, to give praise and so on.
Working in a small group ensures that you will be able to practice your Dutch pronunciation.
The right word order
Next to the emphasis on lively conversation we will "initiate" you in the fundamentals of Dutch grammar. You will actually find the basics of Dutch grammar much easier than is widely rumoured.
In the beginners programs only those parts of the grammar will be highlighted that are essential for getting the word order and usage of the Dutch verbs right.
Basic writing
You will learn to to write a short e-mail in Dutch; a postcard; a short text and to fill in a form.
