Dutch society in a nutshell
This one-day workshop is designed to give you a head start into Dutch society.
You will get an introduction to the Dutch language, to practical need-to-know information, to the job market and to Dutch culture.
Program
The one-day program is active, joyful and aimed at individual needs.
We start at 10.00 with an introduction to the Netherlands and all the difficulties around practicalities of getting started in this country (e.g. permits, health certificates, driving licenses).
During the morning program for the workshop Living, we continue with an introduction to Dutch culture and finding your way into Dutch society.
During the morning program for the workshop Working, we continue with an introduction to the Dutch job market and how you need to apply for a job in the Netherlands (i.e. job interview, CV writing,useful tips, insight into skills, etc.).
At 12.30 we break for a typical Dutch lunch.
The afternoon program starts at 13.15.
The knowledge you have gained during the morning session will now be combined with the Dutch language.
You will learn to introduce yourself in both social and business situations and we will practise with
day-to-day examples to help you get to grips with the basics of Dutch and how to complete for
instance certain forms that each and every foreigner encounters in Dutch society.
At 16.00 is the closure and all participants will be given a bag with practical information that will make your life in this country slightly easier and certainly more enjoyable
This workshop and Dutch lunch is for a maximum amount of 12 people.
For special groups we will make an offer.
We also offer a workshop in a short version without a Dutch lunch in the evening.

Price evening program incl. hand outs : €85,- p.p.
